Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
"I like the cup jock combo. I do like to wear another pair of compression shorts over them it gives me a better fit. The cup lets me move. I feel like I dont have a cup on. I got hit the other day by a ground ball right were it counts and it protected very well. Great product!"

"I bought my boyfriend this cup because I was tired of seeing him come home bruised up from taking hits with his regular cup. We dont want to see the ones we love hurt. I know that you have to expect some damage when your man is into martial arts, but I figured if this cup would just help a little well I would feel better. It was amazing I had to talk him into using it. He looked at it and then at me and said you expect this to protect me? He loves me so he tried it, mostly I think to shut me up. But when he came home he was so excited and amazed I had to laugh. He said he took several direct hits and felt nothing. He said that when he took the first one he had to check himself. After that it was business as usuall except he had no bruses. Thank you spiderguard your great. We wont go back to the hard cups again. :)"
Athletic Cup Designed for Protection and Comfort
Men and boys who compete in sports as diverse as martial arts, football, and soccer now can obtain the protection of an athletic support without the discomfort of a conventional cup made of steel or rigid plastic, according to Supreme Athletic Wear LLC. The company’s new Spider Guard™ Web- Flex™ Supporters provides flexibility and ease of movement while enhancing protection through an energy absorbing technology called Web-Flex™ Technology. The technology was invented and developed by Supreme Athletic Wear founder Brian Kamradt.
Spider Guard is already being sold in USA at select Dick’s Sporting Goods, MMA Warehouse and Official Pro Sports. International retailers include Made4Fighters in the England, Jabb in Sweden and Fight Factory in Australia. Supreme Athletic Wear partners Brian Kamradt & Jim Glasgow are both avid martial artists. Each has over 15 years experience and are black belts in their respective martial arts. Their combined experience includes full contact bare knuckle karate, Taekwondo, Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai kickboxing.
Although Supreme Athletic Wear’s roots lie in Martial Arts, they are now targeting people in all sports who until now have not worn rigid athletic cups because of their discomfort—even when they have a soft lining or cushioning—and because of their interference with performance. In addition to martial arts they already see Spider Guard adding protection for participants in baseball, hockey, boxing, as well as other sports where athletic cup are not always regarded as standard gear, such as rodeo, gymnastics, paintball, and BMX racing. “In any sport, you have to be agile, you have to be quick—everyone is looking for a performance edge,” said Kamradt, “and that is why discomfort has been the biggest problem with conventional cups. Kids will not wear them,
and some sports, like water polo, simply can’t be played with them. In martial arts, if you get kicked or fall on a hard cup, you could actually get hurt because of it. More injuries are caused by the hard cup being forced into or crushing the wearer than by the actual impact.” Athletes who use Spider Guard say they feel as if they are not wearing a cup at all, according to Glasgow. The product has elicited unsolicited praise from mixed martial arts super stars Mike Brown, Brett Rogers and James Krause and MMA trainer Greg Jackson, Jiu-Jitsu black belt champion James H. Clingerman, as well as hundreds of other amateur athletes who are thankful for the new Spider Guard Web Flex technology.
